Project Summary
This 210,000 SF, eight-story building combined the General District, Circuit, Juvenile and Domestic Relation Courts and associated Clerks and related agencies. The courts complex has achieved LEED Silver certification.
The structure was supported on 65-foot long 14-inch DeWaal augercast piles with an allowable capacity of 100 tons. The static load test indicated an ultimate capacity of 240 tons. These piles were selected in lieu of the driven concrete piles due to the vibration sensitive structures located adjacent to the site.
