Kenan Beninati

Kenan’s experience includes performing and overseeing subsurface explorations and geotechnical engineering on various size governmental, industrial, commercial, transportation, and residential projects throughout Southeastern Virginia. Kenan has lived most of his life in the Southeastern region of Virginia and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Old Dominion University in Civil Engineering. Kenan has been responsible for performing engineering evaluations involving shallow foundation design, deep foundation design, pavement design, and earthwork requirements for each project. Kenan has field operation and data reduction experience with geophysical investigative equipment such as vibration monitors, ground-penetrating radar and electrical resistivity testing. During the construction phase, Kenan has experience providing project management oversight of construction materials testing and inspections including building and roadway subgrade proofrolls, foundation subgrade bearing capacity verification, foundation, slab, and CMU reinforcing steel, concrete, and masonry testing, and soils and asphalt compaction testing.
